About the Role 

As a Financial Controller you will ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance across both Sweden and the Nordic region. You will manage month-end closing, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation, while maintaining strong internal controls and risk management. The role involves close collaboration with shared service centers and external auditors, ensuring smooth operations and high service levels. You will also support process improvements and drive harmonization across finance functions. Your expertise in finance and procurement systems will be key to enhancing operational efficiency within the region.

Key Responsibilities 

• Ensure high quality financial information during month-end closing, including variance analysis for P&L and where required Balance Sheet reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with financial and local requirements, ensure a robust system of Internal Controls and Risk Management is in place.
• Point-of-contact and lead discussions with external auditors, accountable for external audit outcomes.
• Point-of-contact and ensure smooth work collaboration across various Finance processes. 
• Subject Matter Expert for Finance & Procurement systems, supporting teams across Sweden commercial entity and to drive agility for coordinators.
• Local point of contact for tax related queries & local expert on payroll accounting.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we look for a strong collaborator, who can engage internal and external stakeholders, and provide solid financial support.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• University Degree in Business or Finance
• A minimum of 5-7 years of working experience within controlling from a global organization
• Experience with SAP preferably Ariba 
• Experience with purchase order, procurement is an advantage 
• Business fluency in English
• Fluency in Swedish

Additional Information

Scope: 14 months maternity leave. Start in November 2025 - end January 2027

Location: Stockholm
