Country Manager - Norway & Denmark
Lead and grow Santen’s business in Norway & Denmark as Country Manager. Full P&L ownership, hands-on leadership, strong growth focus and real impact in a key Nordic leadership role.
We are assisting Santen in finding a driven and business-oriented Country Manager for Norway and Denmark to drive growth and performance across both markets.

About the Position
Santen is now looking for a Country Manager Norway & Denmark, preferably based in Oslo, to lead and develop the commercial business across both countries. Exceptional candidates based in Denmark may also be considered.
This is a key leadership role with full commercial responsibility, including P&L ownership, sales leadership and overall business performance. You will lead a local sales organisation and act as Santen’s senior representative in Norway and Denmark, while being an active member of the Nordic leadership team.
The role is highly hands-on. You are expected to work closely with the sales team in the field, support and develop talent, and actively drive change and growth.
You will collaborate closely with Nordic marketing and medical functions (matrix structure), and be responsible for ensuring strong execution of launches, portfolio development and commercial excellence across both markets.

We are looking for a hungry, driven and commercially minded leader who wants to make a real difference. This role suits someone senior enough to take full accountability, but still eager to be operational and close to the business.
You thrive in change, enjoy building and developing teams, and are motivated by growth. You are comfortable leading a relatively small organisation (approx. 7–8 direct reports) and understand that this environment requires engagement, presence and energy.
You are robust, resilient and able to lead through change in a competitive and sometimes challenging market. You see leadership as a responsibility, not a status symbol, and you genuinely enjoy developing people and business in parallel.
Qualifications
Solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry (compliance knowledge is essential)
Strong understanding of the Norwegian healthcare system and market landscape
Proven experience in sales leadership and commercial responsibility, including P&L
Experience from senior or cross-functional leadership teams (Nordic or regional level is a plus)
Ability to drive change, develop teams and execute strategy in a hands-on manner
Commercial mindset with strong business acumen
Experience from medtech is a plus, but pharma background is required
Fluent in English; Scandinavian language skills are highly desirable
Other information
Start: As soon as possible, taking notice period into account (start around February is possible, but flexibility applies)
This is a full-time position at Santen
Office location: Preferably Oslo, Norway (Denmark-based candidates may be considered)
