Hospital Key Account Manager - Sweden (Stockholm)

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Key Account Manager with 7+ years in hospital sales or specialty therapeutic areas, a proven track record of driving hospital adoption, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You thrive in complex hospital systems, translating strategy into actionable plans, optimizing patient pathways, and influencing key stakeholders.
About the Role
In this role, you will drive adoption and utilization within priority hospitals by translating TLV and NT-rådet recommendations into actionable, hospital-level execution plans. You will align stakeholders on eligibility criteria, optimize patient identification, and strengthen diagnostic and referral pathways to accelerate treatment initiation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute account plans for priority hospitals with clear initiatives, KPIs, and timelines
Translate TLV pricing and NT-rådet guidance into practical hospital implementation
Map and optimize diagnostic, referral, and patient pathways
Identify and remove operational barriers in collaboration with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical and operational stakeholders
Execute compliant customer engagements (in-person and virtual) aligned with strategy
Utilize CRM and account planning tools to prioritize activities, track performance, and forecast accurately
Manage territory budgets responsibly and ensure full regulatory compliance
Profile
7+ years of hospital sales, key account management, or commercial field leadership in specialty areas
Proven success driving hospital adoption, formulary inclusion, and uptake
Strong analytical skills and ability to convert insights into actionable plans
Experience influencing multidisciplinary stakeholders using account-based strategies
Comfortable leveraging digital tools for patient identification and engagement
Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and results-driven
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Proficient in CRM and key account planning tools
Fluent in Swedish and English
Willingness to travel within the territory
